It is presently estimated that there are between 7,000 and 13,000 ex-patriates living on Corfu. The greatest concentration of ex-pats are British, followed by Dutch, German and Italian, but there are ex-pats living on Corfu from many other European countries, as well as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
Each issue Happy Holidays Corfu will feature a profile of a person or couple of foreign origin who has chosen to make Corfu their home.

Why you came to Corfu: It wasn't the plan to come and stay in Corfu, but on first impression my husband and I fell in love with the island and decided to stay.
Means by which you came to Corfu: With our sailing yacht while en route to Turkey
What you like best about living on Corfu: Nature! The colours, the smells, the flowers and trees - palm trees and cacti growing right next to trees that change color in autumn.
What you like least: The fact that I cannot seem to master the Greek language
Favorite restaurant: Poco Loco (Tex-Mex)
Favorite activities: Walking, playing croquet in Gouvia Marina
How long do you plan to live on Corfu? Indefinitely
