Welcome to Maska® Leather Workshop in Gouvia!

Maska® (meaning 'mask' in the Greek language), is a one-of-a-kind leather workshop on the Island of Corfu. In business since 1992, owner and Master Craftsman Makis Sakalis handcrafts unique and artistic leather goods from the finest materials. From functional apparel to unique objets d'art, Maska® is a shop you will surely want to browse whilst on holiday on Corfu.

Maska® is open Monday thru Saturday from the 1st of May through the 31st of October, 9:00 until 15:00 and 18:00 until 23:00. The shop is located just past the village of Gouvia, along the Paleokastritsa Highway, at the front of the Govino Bay Resort and directly opposite the Park Hotel.

Makis Sakalis, owner and sole proprietor of Maska®, designs and manufactures nearly all the fine products you will find in this unique shop. Original designs include: handbags, belts, hats, cases for guns and bullets, chaps and saddlebags.

Working primarily in calfskin, Master Craftsman Makis Sakalis welcomes custom orders. Whatever your needs or desires in leatherwork, Makis will handcraft the item to your specification.
